Sara Rezin, Kiln-formed Glass and Jewelry Artist
A glass artist from Appleton, Wisconsin, Sara Rezin creates colorful kiln-formed glass landscapes, sculptural art, and jewelry. A passion for nature, color, and heirloom shows through in her one-of-a-kind creations.
After careful cutting and placement of glass pieces, powders and enamels, the colorful layers undergo multiple kiln firings to create her functional and sculptural art pieces. The texture, transparency, and shape of each piece are designed to highlight the beauty of the glass. Inspired by Wisconsin’s natural beauty, her kiln-formed landscapes capture the scenery of the state in glass.
Her jewelry ranges from colorful glass necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, to fine silver pieces that preserve handwriting. Her kiln-formed glass jewelry pieces are enhanced by custom fine silver or wire settings.
Sara’s award-winning artwork may be found in several Wisconsin galleries, multiple Midwest juried art shows, as well as private collections worldwide. She shares her enthusiasm for her art through glass and jewelry classes in the Fox Valley.
